Once upon a time, the Internet was highly disorganized. Then Google came along, and instead of looking at each page independently, it started building up links between the pages. A giant was born. Similarly, legal information is still highly disorganized. Everyone is unsure of their rights, laws change frequently, and paralegals are expensive. There is much potential to use the tools enabled by machine learning to structure legal information and make it universally accessible and useful.
