Disability in Sport focuses on changing the paradigm, bringing people with disabilities from the margins to become integral members of the sporting community. Disability in Sport addresses sport for all and the inclusion of all individuals and groups in sport, advancing inclusion through the lens of universal design. Ongoing advocacy, education and research addresses inclusion, universal design and sport for all. Disability in Sport is also active in the international sport for development and human rights space, promoting the power of sport in communities around the world. Disability in Sport provides educational awareness training on inclusion in sport, and serves as a resource to support sport organizations regarding the inclusion process. Disability in Sport serves as a facilitator to organize individuals and groups to work together to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities and the inclusion of marginalized individuals and groups in sport.
