Capital Planning and Investments, LLC ( CPI) serves its clientele through holistic financial planning which includes protection strategies for assets, income and life; savings strategies for goal targeting and maximum wealth potential; and growth strategies which include strategic, tactical (constrained and unconstrained) and absolute return investment styles as well as alternative investments. The firm was founded in 2008 by co-partners Allen Rutledge, Ray Dotson, and Ken Thomas, CFP. Collectively, they have over 50 years of financial planning experience and seek to help clients with a philosophy of "serving - not selling". All three partners reside in the greater Atlanta area and serve clients both locally as well as those in other parts of the country. CPI added, by affiliation, two Atlanta based firms in 2010 to better serve our area. The Wealth Advisory Group in Alpharetta, Georgia whose principal is Bill Dyches and Burt Financial Design in Cumming, Georgia which is owned by John Burt, CLU, ChFC.
