Dr. James Courey is a Prosthodontist. A Prosthodontist is a Registered Specialist Dentist who has undergone at least 3 years extra training. He has been a dentist for 22 years & is an experienced provider of advanced, high quality, comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Courey received his Prosthodontic Specialty Certificate from New York City's Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in 2000. He then joined Prosthodontic Associates of Central New Jersey, where he partnered for several years. Currently, he is a Fellow in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry and is a postgraduate resident instructor of Prosthodontics, the advanced care of implant esthetic and reconstructive dentistry at Cornell University/New York Hospital Queens. Dr. Courey’s training is unique in that it employs multi-specialty training in Prosthodontics, Cosmetics, Implant Surgery, as well as General and Preventative Care Dentistry. He has earned the distinction of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry Association and had the privilege of studying under the top prosthetic, cosmetic, and dental implant specialists in the United States and around the world. In 2009 and 2005, Dr. Courey was recognized by New Jersey Monthly as one of NJ Jersey’s Top Dentists, Prosthodontist. He is the past-president of the Middlesex County Dental Association. Dr. James Courey is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and Middlesex County Dental Association. He is also a Fellow in the Departments of Periodontology and Implant Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. James Courey is a Prosthodontist (New Jersey Prosthodontic Speciality Permit #5245 and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
