The Ramones first album was completed within a week, cost $6,400, contained 14 tracks and was only 29 minutes long. It’s influence changed music and still resonates over 40 years later. Route 50 Productions is an independent film production company formed in 2018 with that punk/DIY ethos at its core and understands that film is only innovative and interesting when you’re willing to take chances with it. We support filmmakers working in experimental, narrative, documentary, and beyond, who are willing to create in the face of an environment hostile to the little guy and keep making films that matter.
