Manens-Tifs s.p.a. was established in 2010 by the integration of two Companies leading in Italy in the sector of engineering consulting, active in the market for over fifty years: Manens Intertecnica and TiFS ingegneria. Currently the Company, that ranks among the top Italian and European engineering counsulting firms, has three offices located in Padova, Verona and Riyadh (KSA). The activity of Manens-Tifs is focused on the themes of sustainability, energy and MEP engineering applied to the sector of large buildings and important structures, with expertise concerning the design of electricity distribution systems, communication systems, safety systems, IT network, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, lighting, acoustics and renewable energy plants. Manens-Tifs provides services ranging from feasibility studies to design (concept, preliminary and detailed design), from project and site management to commissioning activities, offering also specific consultancies for research and development projects aimed at finding innovative solutions in the various areas of MEP engineering. For Manens-Tifs, sustainability issues as well as the quality of indoor environment are key elements of the new approach to integrated design. Moreover, the Company promotes the adoption, during the design phase, of rating systems for green building certification, such as LEED®, BREEAM®, WELL®, LBC®, Estidama®, GSAS® and Itaca® and is founding member of Green Building Council Italia (www.gbcita!ia.org) and partner of U.S. Green Building Council (www.usgbc.org), two no profit organizations working on market transformation towards a more sustainable environment.
