Daystar Kids is New York State's first and only Pediatric Respite Center supporting children with special healthcare needs. Founded in 1988 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester, Daystar Kids provides comprehensive pediatric nursing, education, and therapeutic services to help children coping with serious and complex healthcare conditions and special needs gain the skills they need to successfully enter kindergarten with their peers.
