In order to meet the pent-up demand for independent, transparent, and timely cannabis testing services in Nevada, Desert Cannalytix (also referred to as “the Company”) is preparing to open a state-licensed and internationally accredited analytical testing laboratory in Las Vegas under the leadership of Scientific Director, Malorie LaFuente, CLS, and Analytical Chemist/ Operations Manager, Geraldine Puno, CLS. Both Malorie and Geraldine are licensed Clinical Lab Supervisors with more than 10 years clinical laboratory experience in labs handling upwards of 9,000 samples per day. Desert Cannalytix will perform the full suite of required testing on all seven types of cannabis and cannabis products specified by the State of Nevada (usable marijuana, wet marijuana, non-solvent extracts, solvent-based extracts, edibles, liquids, and topicals). In addition to following all regulations governing Nevada’s cannabis testing laboratories, Desert Cannalytix will also become an International Organization for Standardization (ISO/IEC) certified laboratory, a certification that indicates the adoption of Process Requirements and Management System Requirements based on systematic precision and accuracy for all testing services offered.
