Forca Goa Foundation works at the grassroots level to transform Goa one football player and field at a time. The three pillars of the foundation: - Football: The beautiful game is the heart and soul of what we do. It acts a great unifier in Goa and with a hundred years of football culture, it is one of the few things in the state that brings together people from all backgrounds; no matter their religion, caste or socio-economic class. Being affiliated to the ISL club FC Goa, ensures that we get access to the best technical expertise. - Empowerment: Around our football activities, the Foundation educates and empowers youth to make aware positive choices for themselves and their communities through a calendar of Life Skills Programmes. - Sustainability: We recognize the power the sport has, to bring about consciousness and change. Through our initiatives, we focus on 3 of UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals - Good Health and well being (3), Gender Equality(5) and Responsible Consumption(12).
