YOU ARE CO. is an international education non-profit organization on a mission to build positive belief in younger generations’ holistic development—mind, body and spirit—to become the best versions of themselves. It is a direct response to the growing number of young people that are neglected of health development, which decreases their development of their truest potential. YOU ARE believes every child should have access to quality education, safe mentorship programs, and support from global communities around the common goal of quality education for all. Since its founding in 2019, YOU ARE has provided quality physical education to over 250 students across two different continents in Beijing, China and in Karuma, Uganda. YOU ARE has fully funded adequate P.E uniforms for over 150 students, basketball uniforms for both boys and girls teams, and partially funded recreation facilities at an orphanage in Uganda. YOU ARE was founded by Jessica Upchurch, who has first-hand experience leading Physical Education programs across multiple countries consequently observing the lack of resources, support, and sustainable practices needed for the success of each child's development. YOU ARE and its team is dedicated to expanding developmental opportunities to all despite limitations that might exist YOU ARE aims to serve through: -Quality physical education -Sports opportunities -Mentoring and relationship building What this means to you is that you are able to build positive belief in the future leaders' of tomorrow.
