The UOIT Investment Club is one of UOIT’s largest clubs on campus. In its second year of operations, the annual membership count exceeds 100 students. The club’s primary mandate is educate students about the finance industry and provide industry experience in investment management. The club provides bi-weekly educational presentations, investment forums and management of a portfolio of securities. The UOIT Investment Club manages a diversified fund of US and Canadian equities utilizing a value investing philosophy. The investment operations are segmented into seven different industry sectors led by a team of Portfolio Managers and Analysts. The UOIT Investment Club also provides professional development events, networking/ recruitment workshops, speaker events and general meetings to the student body. The UOIT Investment Club’s network of strong-minded individuals has created a solid foundation as the club continuously grows and produces industry-educated and career focused business professionals.
