The primary objectives of the Association are to: > provide a technical society that encourages the exchange of information on characteristics and uses of asphalt materials and related topics between its Members, and between various segments of the asphalt industry; > organize the efforts of its Membership on a nonprofit, public service basis to assemble, correlate and disseminate technical information on the characteristics and uses of asphalt materials; > conduct conferences at which the characteristics and uses of asphalt materials are discussed; > stimulate and encourage research on the characteristics and uses of asphalt materials.
