www.twsh.orgFounded in 1977, The Women’s Safe House is the oldest, and with 50-55 beds, the largest domestic violence shelter in St. Louis, Missouri. The Women’s Safe House is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, serving approximately 300 women and children annually. The Women’s Safe House is one of few residential programs that accept male children up to 18 years of age, and remains the only shelter in the state of Missouri to offer a twelve-month AfterCare Program.
