The Israel Lithuania Technology Hub (ILTH) is a platform which was formed by the Israel Lithuania Chamber of Commerce and Industry in order to promote bilateral trade, investment and business between Israel and Lithuania. Israel is a phenomenal source of innovation with more start-ups per capita than anywhere else in the world. Given Israel's small size, most Israeli companies need foreign partners whether for capital, business and/or product development, as well as access to global markets. Lithuania is a preferred market in which investments can be made, start-ups promoted and is an ideal launch pad into the EU as a whole. Lithuania has an excellent wealth of talent and skilled labor, an interesting geopolitical position and complementary strengths in technology emerging out of excellent academic institutions. Both countries will therefore be taking full advantage of the assets each can deliver. The Hub focuses its activities within the Life Science and ICT sectors, which were identified as having unique synergies between Israel and Lithuania. The Hub Target and Services The prime target of the Hub is to promote economic growth and technological innovation in Israel and in Lithuania, by creating strong partnerships between the two economies. The ILTH offers its services and assistance to companies and institutions in both countries, to gain familiarity with the local respective markets and identify business opportunities, partners, technology transfer, joint ventures and other projects. The Hub Team will apply its in depth acquaintance and extensive knowledge, contacts and experience in both sectors, coupled with a detailed business information network in order to promote the business relations, cooperation and collaboration between Israeli and Lithuanian companies and organizations.
