Playmakers of Baton Rouge, Inc. is a non-profit theatre founded in 1982 and is Louisiana's only professional theatre company dedicated to young audiences. Each year, Playmakers creates 100 jobs for local artists who perform, direct, design, crew, manage, and instruct our annual projects. Annual projects include: two professional adult-cast mainstage productions, one Young Professionals mainstage production, the Wally Wise Guy mini safety tour, a Spring Educational Elementary School tour, a Summer Neighborhood Library tour, fall classes, spring classes, summer camps, and workshops.
