FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti constructs products conceived to free the creativity of architects, designers and planners by offering a large range of porcelain surfaces suitable for the most widely varying applications, from major projects to small residential contexts. A genuine innovation, which today enables FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti to offer the international market a unique product. The finest, rarest, choicest types of marble, stone and granite take shape in through-body coloured slabs that have extremely high performance, because the raw materials are selected at origin by FMG; because the compacting pressure is incredibly high (480 Kg per cm2); because the firing temperature is higher than that in a volcano (more than 1,300°). Today, FMG offers architects and designers more than 60 varieties of porcelain surfaces, in different finishes (pre-polished, polished, antique-effect, bushhammered, tumbled, structured, honed e slate) and sizes (300x150, 120x60, 90x45, 60x60 etc). Environmentally aware since its foundation, FMG was the first Italian firm to obtain biocompatibility certification from the ANAB (Italian Bioecological Architecture Association). Thanks to the organisation and strict regular audits of its industrial processes, the entire FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti production operation has been certified as compliant with ISO 9001 with regard to quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, and with the EU EMAS regulations.
