40 Days Over 40 Smiles Foundation (40-40) is a Kampala based independent, youth-led, charity organisation. We are committed to helping vulnerable children and communities to access quality, all-round education support and entrepreneurial training aimed at self-sustainability. Our activities are based on programmes that support value addition in education like Food and Nutrition, Literacy, Health and Sanitation, and Extra-Curricular Activities. The idea is to integrate the above programmes with the community so that the problem is solved communally, to encourage self-sustainability and avoid dependency. So far, through social media and events like Basketball and Football games, music and poetry, and through our networks, we have raised over 150,000 US$ and invested it in the lives of over 2000 children. Our events host over 1000 youths and we have a presence on all major social media platforms. Follow us as we seek to be the change we want to see in our society.
