The Kaiviti Silktails are a semi-professional Fijian Rugby League team competing in the 2022 NSWRL Ron Massey Cup. NRL legend Petero Civoniceva serves as the Kaiviti Silktails RLFC Chairman and foundational inspiration. After captaining Fiji, Petero saw what the Fijians were capable of – they were passionate, spirited and bursting with potential, but didn’t necessarily have access to the required resources and funding. Petero knew that with the proper guidance and support, the Fijian players could achieve anything. Fiji needs to shape its own destiny, and this is essentially the vision of the Kaiviti Silktails.
