The Fintech.li Conference wants to strengthen the awareness and the development of FinTech´s in Liechtenstein. It is the aim to foster the financial and technological knowledge and to tie the topic to this special financial area. Hence, we strive to create a platform that allows the exchange of knowledge between traditional, well-established businesses and startups in the financial sector. ORIGIN AND DEVELOPMENT: Based on the advancing digitalization of the financial industry, FINTECH.LI was founded in 2015, where it also has had its first Conference.  In September 2016, the second Conference, which was a two-day event, took place. It was organized using a cooperation with the Financial Market Authority of Liechtenstein and attracted more than 250 people. Since 2017 the conference developed to a place to be for international leaders in the FinTech Ecosystem. During these days, the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein took over the patronage of the FINTECH.LI Conference.
