The Consortium Qld is a boutique hospitality group located on Brisbane’s bayside. Its flagship venue Tide on the Jetty is located on William Gunn Jetty at Manly, overlooking the glistening waters of Moreton Bay. The modern and sophisticated space has become a popular dining destination for both locals and visitors since its opening in 2016. Renowned for its excellent customer service and high-quality food offering, Tide on the Jetty also hosts several events throughout the year, including regular wine and gin tastings, Melbourne Cup, monthly long lunches and New Year’s Eve. The Consortium Qld has recently opened its second venue, The Arsonist, a luxe dining and specialty bar, where fire is the hero. The Arsonist fuels a multi-sensory dining experience with its intimate and moody environment, sensually indulgent décor, and evocative sounds and aromas of cooking with fire. Despite a custom-made fire pit and a flame grill complete with impressive moveable gantry, there are no smoke and mirrors – or kitchen walls – here. Patrons may observe the talented chefs, led by Head Chef Kyle Bradley, igniting the best of local and seasonal produce. The Consortium Qld employs more than 80 staff and has an annual turnover of $6.5 million.
