CGMC was founded in 1990 with the mission of fostering increased recognition, understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community. We continue that mission still today as a leading member of the international Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA) that is open to all regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or ability. More than 200 members strong, CGMC and our Illuminati and VOX ensembles create and perform innovative, provocative and entertaining programs that enhance the arts in Central Ohio while honoring, preserving and expanding the legacy and artistry of the TTBB choral sound and tradition.
