The Terrorism Research Network (NTF) is a registered German Association ("eingetragener Verein"), connecting over 500 scientists, analysts and practitioners from various disciplines who deal with issues and problems in the areas of (counter)terrorism, extremism and political violence. Its mission is to connect and serve as a forum for ideas and exchanges of information, project ideas and joint projects. In addition to the web site and a mailing list, regular workshops are taking place mostly every six months. The Association understands itself as a Platform for Research, Media, Law Enforcement, Politics and other Government Bodies. It is carried by over three dozen volunteers and four board members.
