Project Brasilito Inc. was founded in April, 2016 by high school student Samuel Avila. Project Brasilito's initiative is to gather supplies and funds for a Costa Rican elementary school that was destroyed in an earthquake in 2012, and use them to provide a vibrant, opportunity filled environment to learn in. Over the years, Project Brasilito has received support from multiple school districts, local businesses, and members of the New York community, and looks to expand its outreach in the upcoming years.
