Being an entrepreneur is not too different than being an endurance athlete in that it requires complete commitment, the right approach, and a little luck. It also can extract a lot from the individual as well as the people around them. Over the last ten years I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some truly remarkable people, from various backgrounds and industries. The goal is to build a company that specializes in the needs of serious cyclists that are both demanding of perfection and have the financial security that enables them to afford the absolute best products and services available. In order to achieve this it will take a comprehensive array of solutions from software to physical tools to training to having strong technical partnerships, as well as the right company culture. The origins of this project go back 29 years and in that time span I've accumulated skills, experience as well as the contacts that I am amalgamating into a greater whole. At the current time I am talking to people in both the bicycle world as well as the luxury sector including super cars, yachts and other service providers that operate in a concierge capacity. There are, of course, many other roles to fill such as capitalization, business planning, software development, legal matters (including patent work), etc.
