The mission of the Volunteer Center is to promote volunteerism by connecting people with opportunities to serve, providing community agencies with resources and training, and building community partnerships to meet local needs. VCSJ mobilizes people and resources to address social needs through volunteer service. The Volunteer Center believes that through volunteer service, South Jersey residents have the capacity to enrich their own lives and improve the quality of life in our community. VCSJ also recognizes that all people have time and talent to share, and is committed to collaborative efforts that bring together individuals, neighborhoods, schools, businesses, government, non-profit, faith-based and other community organization for our greater good.
