Our Mission The mission of the American Red Cross is to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Our Vision The Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross will be the premier provider of services that will enable the local chapter to achieve its mission of empowering Mid-Southerners to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Mid-South Red Cross Facts The Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross provides a lifeline of services for seven counties in a three state area. The Mid-South Red Cross currently serves Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton counties in Tennessee; DeSoto and Tunica counties in Mississippi; as well as Crittenden county in Arkansas.
