Englund GeoLab (Ltd) is run by Dr. Oskar Englund, and offers scientific independent consultancy services in an academic environment. Currently, the lab is located at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, but from 2019 it will be located at the Mid Sweden University, Östersund. Oskar Englund has been active at Chalmers since 2010 and studies different aspects of land use, in a context where society is transforming from a fossil-based to a bio-based economy. This requires systems analysis with multidisciplinary approaches. The research has so far resulted in over 40 publications. In parallel, Dr. Englund has been engaged in teaching at several European universities, on subjects ranging from sustainable development to energy systems modelling. He has also participated—and arranged—conferences and workshops on four continents. Englund GeoLab can therefore offer broad expertise on matters concerning sustainability and environmental science, with particularly high expertise on bioenergy, land use, and geographical information systems (GIS).
