Thapathali Campus, located at the center of Kathmandu city, was established in 1966 to develop middle-level manpower in the field of mechanical and automobile engineering. It is one of the constituent campuses of the Institute of Engineering under Tribhuvan University, which upgraded its programs to bachelor and master levels over the course of time. The campus offers bachelor's degree programs in multiple engineering disciplines and a couple of master's degree programs too. With the upgradation to higher level of courses, the need to adopt the recent technological development, and to initiate research and development activities to better cope with related engineering problems, Thapathali Campus is committed to achieve better quality results.
