Hawthorne Academy is a magnet high school for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. The focus of this Academy is to prepare students for careers in Public Safety: Military, Fire Sciences, Emergency Medical Services, or Law and Justice. Students follow a comprehensive curriculum in these areas amassing college credits and necessary industry certifications while simultaneously completing traditional high school graduation requirements.
