The Bundy Museum of History and Art

www.bundymuseum.org

Since 2004, the Bundy Museum of History and Art has been opening its doors to the community, giving people a place to learn about local history, embrace local art, soak up the ambiance of the Victorian era, and enjoy events that instruct and inspire. Besides offering guided tours of the National Register listed Harlow E. Bundy House, the museum displays an impressive collection of timeclocks in an exhibit chronicling the rise of global tech giant IBM from its humble beginnings as the Bundy Manufacturing Company in Binghamton, NY. The Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame celebrates pioneers of local TV and radio, some of whom became nationally famous. This surprising, eclectic museum boasts the area's only permanent, rotating exhibit and lecture series about Rod Serling, creator of the Twilight Zone TV series and graduate of Binghamton High School. Binghamton Photo at the Bundy Museum is the new community darkroom and photo gallery offering full service film developing, workshops to teach photographers the art of film processing, and exhibit space dedicated to photographic art. Every month, the Bundy Museum participates in the First Friday Art Walk, a free, family-friendly, city-wide event that supports the local arts scene. The museum's art galleries are always free and open to the public. The museum operates WBDY-LP 99.5 FM community radio, bringing the vibrant art and culture scene and music of the Binghamton area to everyone, over the airwaves! The Bundy Museum of History and Art is a 501c3 non-profit organization, chartered by the New York State Board of Regents.
