Established in the year 1955, Delhi Management Association (DMA) is a premier professional body devoted to evolving and disseminating latest management principles & practices and act as The “Think tank”. It is currently led by its 49 Hon. President Dr. Yogesh Misra along with eminent managing committee members. DMA is a non-profit and autonomous entity which focuses on providing a wide range of services aimed at enhancing managerial effectiveness in the broad sphere of business management activities. Some of the indelible milestones in the historical growth of DMA are: • 1955: Founded at FICCI by (Late) Shri Charat Ram, Chairman-DCM, as Founder President • 1983: DMA under the ‘Social Community Services’ organized study at Moolchand and Holy Family hospitals in Delhi to study and recommend reduction in “Waiting time in respect of visiting patients and Maintaining record thereof”. The study proved exceedingly handy and purposeful. • 1995: Shifted to own hi-tech modern office at IHC • 2004: First Partnership Summit in New Delhi with Pakistan on “Preparing Human Capital for Tomorrow’s Challenges”. • 2005: Second Partnership Summit in Islamabad on “Human Resource Practices in the Sub-Continent”. • 04 November 2006: DMA Golden Jubilee Convention addressed by Union Ministers and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and other VIPs • 2008: Annual DMA Erehwon Awards for “Innovative Practices established and awarded” • 2012: Annual DMA Thomas Assessments award for excellence in Human Resources • 2020: Celebrating 65 Anniversary. DMA’s major activities encompass: Holding of Industry/ Societal relevant MDPs, Seminars and Brain Storming sessions on contemporary management issues, Monthly evening professional Talks, undertake Study projects, Publish quarterly management journal (Management Review), monthly e- Newsletter, felicitating Best management practices through Awards and Honours and also conduct various customized customer related business management activities.
