The Africa Scout Foundation is an international non-profit organization established in 1995 and registered under the Kenya Societies Act, Certificate No. 19668 of 11th February 2000. It's aim is to provide Africa Scout Region with financial support needed for the growth and development of Scouting. The funds raised help more young Africans to acquire knowledge and develop skills and attitudes that will enable them to be responsible, self-reliant citizens and dependable leaders of the future. These funds are raised through membership contributions, donations, grants and other legal methods of fundraising. The Foundation also seeks non-capital donations to support specific Scouting projects. Our Vision Ensuring a Future for Scouting in Africa Our Mission The mission of the Africa Scout Foundation is to promote the growth of Scouting and support more young people in Africa to gain knowledge, develop skills and attitudes through quality educational programmes towards creating a better world by continuous accumulation of capital fund. Membership Categories There are three types of membership categories; Individual, Corporate and Scout Association. In each category, a provision has been made for members to grow in a five-stage system starting from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
