At Nittany Gymnastics Academy we believe that gymnastics is for everyone, and that every child is important. We offer programs from beginning recreational gymnastics to international competitive gymnastics. Gymnastics provides many benefits, regardless of the level or duration of participation and teaches many life lessons including the benefits of physical fitness. We believe in a positive approach to learning, and that physical fitness and learning is FUN! Our instruction is based on progressions and positive reinforcement. The development of the child is our primary goal. Our Staff has over 100 years of combined experience in gymnastics and enthusiastically shares that knowledge with our students! We select our staff not only on their knowledge of gymnastics and education, but also on their experiences and abilities in working effectively with children. Our staff has a variety of backgrounds that complement our curriculum and methodology. In addition, the owner of the gym Michael Rizzuto is a National Instructor for USA Gymnastics and teaches safety certification courses around the country and as a result stresses the importance of safety in all of our programs.
