Boston University Taiwanese Association (BUTSA) is a student organization at BU with a mission to unite students and young professionals in the Boston area, interested in Taiwan and the Taiwanese culture, through various events. We have roughly 200 active members each year, and 4000+ members in the Facebook group with membership from the majority of Taiwanese students at Boston University. In the past, we have hosted many student orientations, scholastic get-togethers, cultural festivals and celebrations, career workshops, and many more. BUTSA strives to ensure that any Taiwanese student at Boston University achieves success with their daily life in United States regards to their academic and career goals. By providing students with professional development resources, academic advising, and daily life information, we aim to further educate and prepare Taiwanese students for success in their academic and career path. Undergraduate and graduate students are actively involved in BUTSA, and we continue to provide them with a platform through which to develop close and personal relationships with the current members and alumni.
