Hotlime, Inc., makers of Floyd & Fred's HotLime suite of condiments and hot sauces, is a father/son-run business based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Floyd & Fred's HotLime stands apart in a cluttered category due to it's unique ingredient base of key lime juice. Unlike countless interchangeable vinegar-based products, the lime/heat combination of Floyd & Fred's HotLime gives food great flavor and zip, without overwhelming the flavor of the core food it is being added to. The product is currently available in two versions, HotLime Green and HotLime Extra Hot (exactly twice the ratio of habanero peppers compared to the milder Green version). The range of heat levels adds to the versatility, well beyond conventional hot sauces. The Green version is a great marinade (fish, chicken, steaks), dipping sauce (shellfish) and mixed in with countless staples, from cottage cheese to cole slaw, potato salad and much more. And the Extra Hot gives great deeper zip to Mexican dishes, Bloody Marys, soups, nachos, and countless other favorites where users like to ratchet up the heat!
