Atlanta Concrete Artist
www.atlantaconcreteartist.comThe Interior Designer turned Concrete Artist. As a graduate of F.I.T, NYC, Mike's background in Art and Interior Design lends itself perfectly to the Decorative Concrete Industry. For the last 25 years Mike has been creating works of art using concrete as his canvas. In 2007 Mike launched Atlanta Concrete Artist, where he caught the attention of multiple magazines, TV shows and A list celebrity clients. His unique perspective and knowledge sets him apart from the average concrete contractor. Whether he's applying stains or dyes to existing concrete in a high rise or designing a high-end piece of furniture, Mike thrives on the versatility and endless possibilities that concrete has to offer. As President and founder of Atlanta Concrete Artist, he aims to educate prospective clients on the many options available as well as the affordability and easy maintenance of concrete surfaces. When an Interior Design colleague suggested Mike embrace the industrial design furniture movement, it was a natural fit, and in 2020 he is proud to introduce Industrial Elements. Industrial Elements combines the industrial aesthetic with the form and function of concrete, creating distinctive furniture and tabletops for home and business. When Mike isn't busy designing and fabricating concrete, he enjoys spending time at his home in Alpharetta with his wife Stephanie, two children, Julia and Mikey and their two Havanese puppies Bruno and Rocky.
