The Department of Management Studies came into existence on 21st August, 2012. The performances of the students are monitored regularly. The student has regular interactions with personalities from various Industries/ Academia and also undergoes frequent Industrial visits. The Department excelled with 100% placement for 2014 and 2015 batch. The Department have its Annual Festival ‘PAARBON’, which aimed to provide a forum for budding managers of future to conceptualize and implement their ideas along with interaction and deliberations with fellow students were the core objectives of the Festival. More over there is a Departmental Magazine “UDAAN” in which the students express their innovative ideas, views and creative thought. Here, at NIT Silchar, we not only strive for academic excellence but also pay equal importance to the holistic development of the students so that they excel in all spheres of professional life.
