Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity
healthequity.atlanticfellows.orgThe Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity is a one year, non-residential fellowship program offered by the George Washington University. The program aims to develop global leaders who have the knowledge, skills, and courage to build more equitable health systems, organizations, and communities. Health equity speaks to the idea of fairness in realizing the benefits of public health and health care. Despite progress, less advantaged groups continue to live shorter lives and health gaps persist within and between countries. The fellowship trains leaders to recognize, understand and bridge these health gaps. It aims to create a network of committed leaders across organizations, societies, and countries to promote health equity.
