Ascent Aviation is evaluating the development of a 4E aerodrome, ~2hrs of Perth CBD. The aerodrome will serve as a nearby-ALS to Perth Airport, reducing trip fuel consumed by widebody aircraft carrying an alternate reserve payload. The airfield will also be available to general and commercial aviation enterprises. The project will include a 2,400m runway, RNAV-RNP approach procedures, apron parking and ground handling facilities to accommodate multiple widebody aircraft.
