Including handbags, small accessories and jewelry, Lahara’s first collection is characterized by minimalist aesthetics and playful architectural details. Launched in fall 2017 in Switzerland by the German-French designer Laura von Hagen, the collection reflects the eternal summer with fresh, bright and colorful designs and the vibrant hues of the Mediterranean seaside. Lahara designs practical companions for an active woman embodying understated elegance, striving for a conscious way of living and valuing quality over prestige. Lahara was born out of the desire to create fine leather goods that last a lifetime thanks to ageless aesthetics, thoughtfully selected materials of the highest quality, and traditional craftsmanship. Our bags and accessories tell a story of authentic and ethical production made in and by small artisans’ workshops in Italy. Lahara puts all its efforts into sustainable material sourcing and ethical manufacturing, only sourcing materials from Europe, and almost exclusively from Italy. All our products are made by hand, because it takes time to create objects lasting a lifetime. Our collection is entirely made of full grain aniline dyed vegetable tanned leather from one of Tuscany's oldest vegetable leather tanneries as vegetable tanned leather matures beautifully over time, creating an intense patina.
