www.kalenji.frKIPRUN: a dream and a Brand for Running “Keep On Running !” These 3 words echoed by the crowd accompany each Runner all along the length of one of the most legendary races in the world: the New York marathon. Since 2017, running has been divided into 4 sports at Decathlon, to respond more specifically to the needs of each runner: athletics, jogging, trail running and running. At that time, our teams were already working on the Running project, representing regular practice of the sport in a spirit of performance and competition. We soon defined our dream: “To make each finish line a starting point for a new race”. This dream places specific requirements on the design of our products, but also on the complete experience of our athletes and their community. This dream also has the ambition of enabling Road Runners to run sustainably. For all these reasons, we decided to brand our products, but also our advice, actions and partnerships... KIPRUN, a contraction of “Keep on running” and translation of “Sons of Running” in Kenya, the land that Kalenji was inspired by. From January 2020, training and race day products will officially be branded KIPRUN, with the requirement of always being approved for the legendary Marathon distance. Kiprun is not just a brand, it's a dream, which we would like to experience with all Road Runners...
