Huskki aims to create a community of fit and independent elders. Falls among the elderly is a huge issue. To tackle this, Huskki has three pillars: Fall Prevention, Fall Detection, and Fall Recovery. To begin with Fall Prevention, we are building a mobile application that will help improve the balance and muscle strength of the elderly. This will be done by creating a personalised fitness plan for the elders keeping in mind their conditions like cardiovascular diseases, osteoarthritis, bad knee, etc. In future, we will develop an AI based Fall Detection system. The aim is to monitor the elderly at all times and eliminate any dependency between them and a wearable device (that is easy to forget). Fall Recovery is the third pillar which will help the elderly recover from post-fall consequence like physical injuries, and increased inactivity due to fear of falling.
