The ALC is an English teaching institution that has trained more than 150,000 English speakers since 1953. The American Language Center has provided high quality English as a second language training (ESOL) since 1955. ALC offers TOEFL, and SAT Preparation courses. ALC also offers business English courses and is a testing center for the university of Michigan, English Language Institute, ECCE and ECPE.
