Trans-Ocean Products, Inc.

www.trans-ocean.com

Founded in 1985, Trans-Ocean Products, Inc. is one of the country’s leading surimi seafood processors. Surimi seafood, perhaps better known as imitation crabmeat, is made from wild Alaska Pollock and other ingredients and is used as an alternative to shrimp and shellfish in salads, pastas and other recipes. Crab Classic, our flagship brand, is America’s #1 selling brand of surimi seafood. We also offer Simply Surimi, a natural product that is verified by the Non-GMO Project and Seafood Snackers, a snack-sized serving of our leg style products. Our corporate offices and production facilities are located in Bellingham, Washington, close to the cold, pure waters of Alaska from which our key raw materials are sourced. We strive to be a best-in-class producer of surimi seafood; our processing facility has achieved BRC AA certification, the highest level possible, and continues to meet this standard annually. Our products are MSC-certified as sourced in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner. To meet the needs of the growing gluten-free market, our manufacturing operation became a 100% dedicated gluten-free facility in 2014. As a subsidiary of Maruha-Nichiro, the world’s largest seafood company, we are a vertically integrated manufacturer with three surimi plants and two floating processor ships in Alaska.
