Oud Beersel Brewery, founded in 1882, is located in Beersel 10 km southwest of the center of Brussels. One of the last authentic lambic breweries in Belgium, it is renowned for its innovative initiatives combined with its deep respect for traditional methods according to the ancient traditions of brewing lambic. De Geuzen van Oud Beersel Vzw is a non-profit that collaborates with Oud Beersel Brewery to ensure the safeguarding of these traditions by organising numerous events, activities and brainstorms to help discover and drive these traditions and the love of spontaneous fermentation well into the 21st century.
