We have 70 member associations and over 7000 affiliated climbers and mountaineers. The federation was founded in 1973 and is a member of the Swedish Sports Confederation, the Swedish Association for Outdoor Organizations, UIAA, IFSC and ISMF. The SKF manages and promotes all mountain sports in Sweden. We represent climbing and mountaineering in the Swedish sports and outdoor life movements, as well as Swedish climbing and mountaineering abroad.
