Alfouzan Distribution was founded by Nawaf Al-Fouzan which is a division of Moosa Al-Fouzan Trading. It’s a young IT Distribution company that started officially in 2004 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company started the distribution with one brand (Aircord) in the networking field then later expanded to the storage , Memory, Cable marking, Fiber and Surveillance with more brands such as Buffalo, TPLink, Adata, Iogear, Brady, ACTi, Intelleinet and 4ipnet. The start was very conservative and didn’t exceed 10 items to offer in the networking while now we exceeded 1000 items according to August 2010 inventory list. The list is still growing. We also started with 700 square foot office and warehouse and now we have three warehouses exceeding 20000 square feet. Most of the businesses hit with hurdles. We started with a wifi adapters shipment that didn’t exceed 300 units and It took us six months to sell them all. Now we distribute more than 10,000 pcs a month. One of the challenges that all the market players suffered from is the lack of education among consumers when it comes to wireless networking and new technologies.
