Project 1 Million aims to collect and recycle 1,000,000 cans and bottles, and use the resulting funds to support various local causes. We create value for the local community through raising awareness of recycling. Project 1 Million supports local social and charity projects with donations from collected cans and bottles. We put funds directly in the hands of those that need them, using none on administrative costs. Administrative costs are covered by our sponsors. We are cooperating with companies to create their very own CSR project, giving them the opportunity to be more sustainable and engage their employees and us to raise the awareness about recycling and spreading the word about Project 1 Million. The Project 1 Million team consists entirely of students and young professionals. Every single person involved in the project benefits from it in one way or another. We are always looking for new people to join our team! In the near future, supporters will contribute to the project by taking over the responsibility for certain areas or institutions. Moreover, we are expanding the project even further by getting involved in local events and activities. Our aim is to continue spreading awareness of the project, and to create a network of volunteer teams throughout the country.Relying on volunteers helps keep our overhead low, which means all our funds can be used for charity instead of administration. Our primary expenses are covered by private and public sponsors.
