Sole Foot and Ankle Specialists is a state of the art podiatry practice located in Glendale, Arizona. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. Dr. Gary N. Friedlander and Dr. Jay C. Larson are the podiatrists on staff. Dr. Gary Friedlander is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has been practicing podiatry in a private setting since 1982 when he first established his practice in the Sun City area. Dr. Friedlander’s practice emphasizes a diversity of areas including vascular foot and ankle, geriatric, diabetic, and wound care issues. He is well respected and has been highlighted among the Top Docs in Phoenix Magazine. Dr. Jay C. Larson is Board Eligible in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has passion for patient care and enjoys taking the time to educate patients and their families. He attended Utah State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education. He moved to the Phoenix area in 2004 to become part of the inaugural podiatry class at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. In 2008, he moved to Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center. During his third year of training, Dr. Larson was selected to be Chief Resident and the resident representative on several hospital committees.
