www.kfibd.orgThe Undergraduate Investment Banking Deal at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School (The “KFIBD”) is a student-run program that launches in the Spring 2023 semester as a subsidiary of the UNC Undergraduate Finance Society. The purpose of forming The KFIBD is to educate and provide students of all backgrounds the opportunity for competitive, practical deal experience through a case study judged by panelists from sponsor investment banking firms. The KFIBD will cover major transactions, with a focus on leveraged finance and M&A. Through partnership with the IBBC and Kenan-Flagler Staff, the program ensures participants are prepared for an investment banking division internship via insight into the role of an analyst on a live deal.
